Vinyasa means “to link movement with breath”. In this class we will encourage meditation through movement as we establish a consistent rhythmic breath and allow the postures to sync with it. Expect creative flows and transitions in this class that is appropriate for students with some Yoga experience. Variations are offered to create opportunity for a more or less dynamic experience based on your needs.
Exactly as it sounds, this is class is an opportunity to move your body gently. This class offers the same stretch and strengthening opportunity as a dynamic class but offered in a way that allows more time and support to find the shape. Appropriate for all levels
A rejuvenating practice which will bring harmony and balance in mind, body and breath. Through a blend of gentle asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), and relaxation methods, this class invites you to explore your inner landscape, cultivate strength and flexibility, and discover a sense of balance and peace. Suitable for all levels, this practice encourages mindfulness, alignment, and self-awareness, empowering you to enhance your overall well-being and vitality. A typical class will start with a centering that focuses on breath awareness, joint and gland exercises that will help move into some classical asanas, some pranayama, and end with a guided shavasana.
This class is similar to a vinyasa class in that it is breath based, but we will practice roughly half of the postures as each shape is held for several breaths to allow a deeper connection with each pose. The slower pace offers a meditative aspect to the practice.
This class is all about connecting with the body. We will move through dynamic sequencing that will serve to generate warmth in the body and burn through what is no longer serving. The room is brought to around 85 degrees which serves to facilitate that heat and allow for safe opening of muscle groups. Bring water and a towel. Some yoga experience is recommended.
Ah, the best of both worlds. Yang and Yin. This class will begin with a dynamic flow to warm the body and burn off excess energy then will shift to a more cooling and deeply stretching practice. Yin postures are approached mindfully using the support of props. These shapes are then held for 3-5 minutes to access deeper tissue and tension release. Appropriate for all levels.
This class is a slow and restful pace. Expect deep release of muscle tension as we utilize the support of props to explore space in the body. Postures are held for 3 to 5 minutes to access a deep stretch of tight tissues. Appropriate for all levels
This class is an opportunity for deep comfort and relaxation. We will utilize several props to offer the body an experience of complete support to let go. The lights are dimmed and we are encouraged toward a complete state of calm. This class is deeply beneficial in mitigating the stresses of everyday life.

Infrared saunas use infrared radiation to heat the body directly, penetrating deeper than traditional saunas. They offer various potential benefits, including:
Improved Circulation and Cardiovascular Health: Infrared heat increases blood flow, which may improve circulation and reduce inflammation. This could potentially benefit cardiovascular health by lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Pain Relief and Muscle Recovery: Infrared saunas can help relieve pain from conditions like arthritis, muscle soreness, and chronic pain. The heat promotes relaxation and reduces inflammation, which can ease pain symptoms.
Weight Loss and Calorie Burning: Infrared saunas can induce sweating, leading to a temporary loss of water weight. Additionally, some studies suggest that infrared saunas may increase metabolism and calorie burning.
Detoxification and Skin Health: Infrared heat may promote sweating, which can help eliminate toxins and impurities from the body. This may improve skin health by reducing acne and eczema. Stress Reduction and Relaxation: Infrared saunas create a warm and calming environment that can promote relaxation and stress reduction. The heat releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects.
