Yin Yoga and Sound Bath

Yin yoga is a slow paced style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Expect a series of longer holds in floor poses to unlock and open tights muscle and fascia. Longer holds offer an opportunity to access deep tissue. Practitioners are encouraged to utilize props in support of finding the level of opening appropriate for their own body. Benefits of this type of yoga include increased flexibility, improved circulation enhancing range of motion, improving emotion balance and reducing stress, anxiety and insomnia.

Sound Therapy is a complementary therapy that uses instruments played gently and rhythmically using an entrainment pattern to improve overall emotional health and well-being. Sonic vibrations are felt in the body where they support abundant health by activating a relaxed parasympathetic state. Sound healing connects and calms the thinking mind, the heart mind and the gut brain. It promotes feelings of safety, thereby creating conditions for healing in the body. Some benefits can include deep relaxation, improved sleep, reduced anxiety, decreased pain and lowered blood pressure.
